Strategies

This section provides information on the different strategies that explain how Brighton & Hove City Council will deliver their vision for the future of Supporting People in Brighton & Hove. 

 

The Supporting People programme came in to effect on the 1st of April 2003. Central Government gave Local Authorities the responsibility for the planning and provision of services in their area.

Supporting People Strategy 2008-11

Our strategy sets out what we are aiming to achieve by funding SP services. In early 2008, the SP strategy was updated following a strategy review. During the Summer 2007 we consulted with service users, organisations who provide services, commissioners and other stakeholders. Their feedback contributed to our Strategy 2008-11.
